SWAYAM acts as a digital bridge for students who have been untouched by the digital revolution, providing them with an opportunity to become an integral part of the knowledge economy. The program addresses this digital disparity by hosting a wide array of courses, ranging from Class 9 to post-graduation, accessible to learners anytime and anywhere.

What sets SWAYAM apart is its interactive courses, meticulously prepared by the country’s best teachers and faculty, all available at no cost to learners. Over 1,000 dedicated educators have contributed to crafting courses that cover various subjects and academic levels.

SWAYAM organizes its courses into four distinct quadrants:

Reading Materials: Specially curated reading materials available for download and printing.
Self-Assessment Tests: Interactive quizzes and tests for self-evaluation.

National Coordinators Ensuring Quality
To ensure the delivery of top-notch content, SWAYAM has appointed nine National Coordinators, each overseeing specific domains such as technical education, engineering, post-graduation, undergraduate education, school education, and more.

While courses on SWAYAM are free, learners seeking certification can register for final proctored exams, which come at a nominal fee. The certificates, recognized by universities and colleges, can be used for credit transfer. SWAYAM has gained approval from UGC and AICTE for credit transfer, offering students a seamless learning experience.
Grievance Redressal and Feedback
For learners with grievances related to Credit Transfer, SWAYAM provides a platform to submit concerns to their parent university through a dedicated form, ensuring continuous improvement and addressing concerns effectively.
